Please bear in mind that there are plenty of interesting places in this area which are not mentioned and are definitely wort visiting. Plenty of yacht owners are cruising for more than month just in Kornati islands. Also, always look on weather forecast as safety is key; after comes pleasure and happiness on sea.
For all restaurants and marinas, you will need to make reservation. For restaurants you can call day before, for ACI marinas you can make online reservation especially for Skradin & Piskera, Palmizana, Korcula.
In text below, you can find 14-day route sailing north towards Kornati archipelago in first week and south next week.
Day 1) Island Šolta
Island Solta Marina Martinis Marchi (you will need to make reservation in marina Marchi. On Saturdays and Fridays is very popular place as a lot of sailor’s dock there as it is closest port to majority of boats from marinas Trogir, Seget, Kremik and Frapa.)
Maslinica - Island Šolta
Day 2) Island Kakanj
Sailing towards island Kakanj. I would recommend taking buoy in very nice bay between islands Kaprije and Kakanj.
Day 3) Kornati
Kornati archipelago you have couple options. Opat, Ravni zakan, ACI marina Piskera, island Levrnjak. You can stay 2 days in Kornati if you prefer.
There is a fee to pay for cruising national park Kornati.
Piškera - Kornati islands
www.np-kornati.hr is much cheaper to buy ticket online then pay on spot with rangers. ACI marina Piskera is very nice wild marina and you can also dock there and mooring fee includes ticket for national park. In Opat you also have very nice restaurants. On island Levrnjak on southern side you have very nice beach Lojena where you can go for swimming and for night you can go on other side of same island Levrnjak and dock there and have dinner in local restuarnt. Mooring or buoys from restaurants are free.
Day 4) Island Zut or island Vrgada
Sailing through Vela Proversa, you will be exiting Kornati archipelago. (You have two passages to exit Kornati : Vela Proversa and Mala Proversa. Mala Proversa is nicer passage and very attractive as it is wide only couple meters.
For day 4 you have two options island Zut or island Vrgada. On island Vrgada you have very nice beach with orange sand only watch out for shallow water near that beach.
Žut
Day 5) Skradin
ACI marina Skradin sailing to Skradin through Sibenik and fjords. From Skradin you can go to visit national park Krka with waterfalls. It is one of most popular places and you will defiantly need reservation.
Skradin
Day 6) Island Zirje
Island Zirje anchor in one of natural bays on southern side if weather would be nice. (Mala and Velika Stupica).
Velika Stupica - Žirje Island
Day 7) Island Bisevo or Island Vis
It is time for open sea sailing towards island Vis and town Komiza.I would recommend taking buoys in western side of port. You can enjoy swimming and sunset on boat and for dinner go in some of best Komiza restaurants.
Stiniva - Island Vis
As alternative you can anchor on island Bisevo In bay called Porat and you have very nice beach there. It is crowded over the day with tenders from Split but during night is very nice.
Day 8) Island Vis
Checking Blue cave on island Bisevo, and sailing on south side of island Vis. On your way you can stop and check Stiniva cove as it is very popular tourist destination and sailing further towards Stoncica Bay. Might be good to catch buoy in Stoncia as has very nice sandy beach. An option can be to sail in town Vis. I would recommend taking buoy in Kut, eastern part of Vis port. In Vis you have some very nice restaurants. An option can be going in mainland and trying some “Peka”. Trandional meal under bell.
Vis
Day 9) Island Lastovo
You have couple options, Veli lago Pasadur, Skrevena Luka marina or Zaklopatica. My recommendation would be Zaklopatica bay and taking free mooring in one of restaurants.
Skrivena Luka - Lastovo
Day 10) Island Korcula
Korcula town ACI marina Korcula. Before sailing in Korcula port I would recommend anchoring and swimming near Badija island. When approaching Korcula watch out for shallow waters and speed limit as coast guard is working there and giving ticket. You will need reservation for ACI marina Korcula.
Korčula
Day 11) Island Scedro
Island Scedro taking buoys in one of northern bays. On your way you can check and have swim at Plocice as it is shallow water in middle of sea.
Day 12) Island Hvar & Pakleni archipelago
For Hvar and Pakleni archipelago you have couple options. Finding spot in Hvar port would be impossible mission so I would recommend reserving ACI marina Palmizana on island St. Clement. Walking on other side of island is must thing to do. From ACI marina Palmizana you have boat taxis that will take you in Hvar. ACI marinas you can reserve on ACI marina website and you do reservation with credit card but don’t wait as Palmizana and Korcula are very popular destinations and you might not find free spot.
Pakleni Islands
Day 13) Island Hvar-Starigrad
Tiha bay on island Hvar or town Starigrad. In Tiha bay you have plenty of buoys but you will need to come early enough to catch one. In Starigrad you can dock in port or take buoy but for both you will need to have reservation. If you will be in Starigrad I would recommend going in nearby village Dol and taking one of available “Pekas.”
Starigrad- Island Hvar
Day 14) Sailing towards home marina in Split or Trogir
Day 15) Disembarkation
